Product Specific Information

The AFS98 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse CD115 (CSF1R), a receptor for macrophage colony stimulating factor (M-CSF or CSF-1). CD115 is expressed on monocytes, macrophages, osteoclasts, and some epithelial cells. It is a 150 kDa c-fms gene product belonging to the immunoglobulin family. CSF-1 signaling through CSF-1R regulates proliferation and differentiation of monocytic lineage cells.

APC-eFluor® 780 emits at 780 nm and is excited with the Red laser (633 nm). Ensure instrument compatibility.

Light Sensitivity:
This tandem dye is sensitive to photo-induced oxidation. Protect vial and stained samples from light.

Samples may be stored up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark using:

Target Information

CSF1R (FMS) is a tyrosine kinase receptor involved in macrophage production, differentiation, and function. Ligand binding induces receptor oligomerization and transphosphorylation, activating downstream signaling. It plays a key role in survival and proliferation of mononuclear phagocytes and in innate immunity. Mutations in CSF1R are linked to myeloid malignancies.
