Product Specific Information

The SN6 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD105 (Endoglin), a ~90 kDa disulfide-linked homodimer expressed by vascular endothelial cells, some bone marrow cells, and activated macrophages. CD105 is involved in adhesion and embryonic angiogenesis.

Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
Applications Tested: Pre-diluted and validated for flow cytometry using U937 cells. Recommended usage: 5 µL (0.5 µg) per test in a final volume of 100 µL. Cell count may vary (10⁵–10⁸ cells/test).

Fluorochrome Information:
APC-eFluor 780 emits at 780 nm and is excited by the red laser (633–647 nm). Ensure instrument compatibility.

Light Sensitivity:
This tandem dye is sensitive to photo-induced oxidation. Protect vial and stained samples from light.

Fixation:
Samples can be stored in IC Fixation Buffer (Product #00-8222-49) or 1-Step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product #00-5333-57) for up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark with minimal impact on brightness and FRET efficiency.

Target Information

CD105 (Endoglin) is a Type I transmembrane glycoprotein highly expressed on human vascular endothelial cells. It forms an O- and N-glycosylated homodimer. Upregulation of Endoglin has been observed in tumor vasculature and proliferating cells, indicating its role as a proliferation-associated endothelial marker. CD105 binds TGF-β1 and TGF-β3 with high affinity, but not TGF-β2.
