Product Specific Information

The eBioA1 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD39 (ENTPD1 or NTPDase), an integral membrane protein with two transmembrane domains forming a homotetramer. CD39 functions to remove extracellular ATP by converting it to ADP or AMP, often working with CD73. Expression is found on activated lymphocytes, subsets of T cells, B cells, dendritic cells, and weakly on monocytes and granulocytes.

CD39 and CD73 are also expressed on regulatory T cells (Treg), facilitating their migration into inflamed tissues with high ATP levels. Expression of CD39 on Foxp3+CD4+ cells ranges from 25–45%.

Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested: Pre-titrated for flow cytometry of human peripheral blood cells. Use 5 µL (0.06 µg) per test (100 µL final volume). Cell count: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test.

Fluorochrome: PerCP-eFluor® 710 (Emission 710 nm, excitation 488 nm).
Recommended filter: 710/50 bandpass (695/40 acceptable).
Ensure instrument compatibility.

  Store up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark with minimal signal loss.

Filtration: 0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.

Target Information

CD39 (70–100 kDa) is expressed on peripheral blood B cells, monocytes, T cell clones, and weakly on granulocytes. It has ecto-ATPase activity and is upregulated on T and B cells upon activation.
