Product Specific Information

The monoclonal antibody 1C2 recognizes mouse and rat CD42d, also known as platelet glycoprotein V (GPV).
CD42d interacts with CD42a, CD42b, and CD42c to form the receptor complex for von Willebrand factor and thrombin, playing a role in platelet adhesion.
Expression of CD42d is restricted to resting platelets and megakaryocytes, making it a useful marker for megakaryocyte development.

  • Use ≤ 0.25 µg/test (100 µL final volume)

Fluorochrome Information:
PerCP-eFluor® 710 emits at 710 nm and is excited with the 488 nm blue laser.
Recommended filter: 710/50 bandpass (695/40 acceptable alternative).
Ensure compatibility with the instrument used.

Fixation:
Samples can be stored in:

• IC Fixation Buffer (Product #00-8222-49), or
• 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product #00-5333-54)
  for up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark with minimal impact on fluorescence.
