Target Information
DACH1 is a transcription factor involved in the regulation of organogenesis and acts as a regulator of SIX1, SIX6, and possibly SIX5. It modulates precursor cell proliferation and differentiation through interactions with EYA3, CREBBP, SMAD4, and NCOR1. DACH1 binds chromatin DNA via its DACHbox-N domain and influences cell cycle regulation by repressing cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitors such as p27Kip1.
