Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
N-cadherin is a 140 kDa transmembrane protein mediating calcium-dependent intercellular adhesion. It plays a key role in morphogenetic movements during development and cell surface adhesion through homotypic interactions. Its function depends on association with the actin cytoskeleton and catenin proteins, regulated by phosphorylation of beta-catenin. N-cadherin consists of five extracellular cadherin repeats, a transmembrane region, and a conserved cytoplasmic tail, essential for gastrulation and left-right asymmetry establishment.
