Target Information
Cytochrome C는 미토콘드리아의 막간 공간에 존재하는 전자 전달 단백질로, 산화적 인산화와 세포 ATP 생산에 중요한 역할을 합니다. 세포자멸사(apoptosis) 자극에 의해 미토콘드리아에서 세포질로 방출되며, 세포질 내에서 apoptotic protease activating factor에 결합하여 procaspase 9을 활성화시킵니다. 활성화된 caspase 3은 apoptosis의 주요 실행 인자로 작용합니다.
