Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
This antibody recognizes one of several receptors for 5-hydroxytryptamine (serotonin), a biogenic hormone functioning as a neurotransmitter, hormone, and mitogen. The receptor activity is mediated by G proteins that inhibit adenylate cyclase activity.
