Recombinant rat monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. These antibodies are generated from specific genes encoding the desired antibody, cloned into an expression vector, and expressed in vitro.
Advantages include improved specificity and consistent performance across lots.
It is recommended to titrate the antibody for optimal assay performance.
Target Information
The T-cell antigen receptor (TCR) genes (alpha, beta, gamma, delta) are regulated by distinct enhancers and their enhancer-binding proteins. GATA3 binds to these enhancers, controlling TCR gene expression. GATA3 contains a zinc finger domain and is expressed in T cells but not in B cells or macrophages. It plays a key role in T-lymphocyte lineage differentiation and TCR gene activation. The human GATA3 gene spans 17 kb with 6 exons, encoding two conserved zinc finger domains similar to those of GATA1.
