Product Specific Information
This antibody detects endogenous levels of total MAN1B1 protein.
Target Information
MAN1B1 is involved in glycoprotein quality control and the targeting of misfolded glycoproteins for degradation. It primarily trims a single α-1,2-linked mannose residue from Man9GlcNAc2 to produce Man8GlcNAc2. At higher enzyme concentrations, particularly in the ER quality control compartment (ERQC), it further processes carbohydrates to Man5–6GlcNAc2.
