Target Information
SF3B1 유전자는 splicing factor 3b 단백질 복합체의 서브유닛 1을 암호화합니다. Splicing factor 3b는 splicing factor 3a 및 12S RNA 단위와 함께 U2 small nuclear ribonucleoproteins 복합체를 형성합니다. 이 복합체는 pre-mRNA의 intron branch site 상류에 결합하며, U2 snRNP을 pre-mRNA에 고정시키는 역할을 합니다. 또한 SF3B1은 minor U12-type spliceosome의 구성 요소이기도 합니다. Carboxy-terminal 영역에는 22개의 비동일 HEAT 반복이 존재하며, 이는 막대형 나선 구조를 형성합니다. 대체 스플라이싱으로 인해 다양한 isoform이 생성됩니다.
