Product Specific Information

The antibody was cross-adsorbed to unphosphorylated NLRC4 (Ser-533) peptide before affinity purification using phospho-NLRC4 (Ser-533) peptide.
This antibody detects a 110 kDa* protein on SDS-PAGE immunoblots of PMA-differentiated THP1 human macrophages.
Additionally, the antibody detects a mouse recombinant phospho-NLRC4 (Ser-533) peptide but does not detect this peptide after lambda phosphatase treatment.

NLRC4 encodes a member of the caspase recruitment domain-containing NLR family.
Family members play essential roles in the innate immune response to a wide range of pathogenic organisms, tissue damage, and other cellular stresses.
Mutations in this gene result in autoinflammation with infantile enterocolitis.
Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
