Target Information
TNK2 (ACK, activated Cdc42-associated kinase) is a non-receptor tyrosine kinase that signals downstream of Cdc42. It is involved in tumorigenesis and metastasis, particularly in prostate cancer. TNK2 mediates CDC42-dependent cell migration via phosphorylation of BCAR1 and may play roles in synaptic function, brain development, and AKT1 activation (phosphorylation at Tyr-176). It also phosphorylates AR (Tyr-267, Tyr-363), WWOX (Tyr-287), and MCF2, influencing cell signaling pathways related to metastasis and tumor growth.
