The monoclonal antibody AT130-2 reacts with mouse CD32b (Fc-gamma receptor IIb), the only inhibitory member of the Fc-gamma receptor family. Engagement of CD32b leads to phosphorylation of its ITIM motif, attenuating B cell receptor (BCR) signaling and other activating pathways, thereby reducing proliferation and antibody production, and potentially inducing apoptosis.

CD32b is the only Fc-gamma receptor expressed on B cells and is also found on monocytes, dendritic cells, neutrophils, eosinophils, basophils, B cell progenitors, and plasma cells.
AT130-2 has been reported to exhibit agonist activity.

Applications Tested: Tested on mouse splenocytes at ≤0.5 µg/test (100 µL final volume, 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test). Titrate for optimal performance.

Target Information

This gene encodes a member of the immunoglobulin Fc receptor family expressed on immune cells such as macrophages and neutrophils. The encoded protein functions as a cell surface receptor involved in phagocytosis and immune complex clearance. Alternative splicing produces multiple transcript variants.
