Target Information
LRP1 단백질은 세포 내 신호 전달, 지질 항상성, 그리고 세포 사멸체 제거 등 다양한 세포 과정에 관여하는 내포성 수용체입니다. 또한 A2M 매개에 의해 분비된 아밀로이드 전구체 단백질과 베타-아밀로이드(알츠하이머 환자의 아밀로이드 플라크 주요 성분)의 제거에 필수적입니다. 이 유전자의 발현은 노화에 따라 감소하며, 알츠하이머 환자의 뇌 조직에서는 정상 대비 낮은 수준으로 보고되었습니다.
