Target Information
RND1 lacks intrinsic GTPase activity and has a low affinity for GDP, constitutively binding GTP.
It controls rearrangements of the actin cytoskeleton and induces Rac-dependent neuritic process formation, partly by disrupting cortical actin filaments.
Causes formation of multiple neuritic processes from the cell body with disruption of cortical actin filaments.
