Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene is involved in the regulation of cell proliferation and mediates crosstalk between adiponectin and insulin signaling pathways. It interacts with multiple proteins, including RAB5A, DCC, AKT2, PIK3CA, adiponectin receptors, and components of the NuRD/MeCP1 complex. This protein is associated with endosomal membranes and can translocate to the nucleus upon EGF stimulation.
