Target Information
Humanin은 알츠하이머병 영향을 받은 뇌에서 발견된 24 아미노산 길이의 새로운 폴리펩타이드입니다.
이 단백질은 미토콘드리아 16s rRNA와 99% 상동성을 가지며, 신경 및 세포 보호 기능을 수행합니다.
Humanin은 베타아밀로이드와 FAD 유전자가 유도하는 신경세포 사멸을 억제하며, FPRL1 수용체의 접근을 경쟁적으로 차단합니다.
또한 Bax, Bak, Bid, BimEL 등 Bcl-2/Bax 계열의 친사멸 단백질과 결합해 세포사멸을 억제하고, JAK/STAT 신호 경로를 활성화합니다.
TRIM11에 의해 조절되며 IGFBP-3과 상호작용하여 교모세포종 세포의 IGFBP-3 유도 세포사멸을 억제합니다.
Humanin은 대장 및 고환에서도 발현됩니다.
