Target Information
GAMT는 S-adenosylmethionine을 메틸 기 공여체로 사용하여 guanidoacetate를 creatine으로 전환하는 메틸트랜스퍼라아제입니다. 이 유전자의 결함은 creatine 결핍 및 guanidinoacetate 축적으로 인한 신경학적 증후군과 근육 저긴장증과 관련이 있습니다. 두 가지 전사 변이체가 보고되어 있으며, 각각 다른 isoform을 인코딩합니다.
