Target Information
PAK7 (KIAA1264)는 세포골격 역학, 세포 증식 및 생존 신호 조절에 관여하는 단백질 키나아제입니다. 이 단백질은 CDC42/Rac1 결합 모티프를 포함하며, GTP 존재 시 CDC42와 결합할 수 있습니다. 주로 뇌에서 발현되며, 신경돌기(neurite) 성장 촉진에 관여하여 신경 발달에 중요한 역할을 할 수 있습니다. 또한 미세소관 네트워크와 연관되어 미세소관 안정화를 유도하며, 세포 주기 동안 세포 내 위치가 정밀하게 조절됩니다. 동일 단백질을 암호화하는 다양한 전사 변이체가 보고되었습니다.
