Target Information
ADAM17 (disintegrin and metalloproteinase domain-containing protein 17)은 TNF-alpha의 막 결합 전구체를 성숙한 가용성 형태로 절단하는 효소입니다. 또한, ADAM17은 세포 표면 단백질(예: JAM3, p75 TNF-receptor, IL receptor type II, p55 TNF-receptor, TGF-alpha, L-selectin, 성장호르몬 수용체, MUC1, amyloid precursor protein 등)의 절단을 매개합니다. Notch 신호전달 경로의 활성화에도 관여하며, Notch 단백질 절단을 통해 Notch extracellular truncation (NEXT)을 생성합니다. 유전자 변이는 염증성 피부 및 장 질환, 신생아 질환과 관련될 수 있습니다.
