For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, an additional desalting step is recommended using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Protein that mediates both AMPylation (addition of adenosine 5'-monophosphate) and de-AMPylation (removal of AMP) of target proteins, depending on the context.
The side chain of Glu-231 determines whether AMPylase or de-AMPylase activity occurs.
Acts as a key regulator of the ERN1/IRE1-mediated unfolded protein response (UPR) by modulating the AMPylation state of HSPA5/BiP.
In unstressed cells, it AMPylates HSPA5/BiP at Thr-518, inactivating it. Under ER stress, it removes AMP from HSPA5/BiP at the same site, restoring activity.
Although capable of AMPylating RhoA, Rac, and Cdc42 in vitro, these are not physiological substrates.
