The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is >95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene is a proinflammatory cytokine that induces IFN-gamma production in T cells. In combination with IL-12, it inhibits IL-4 dependent IgE and IgG1 production and enhances IgG2a production in B cells. IL-18 binding protein interacts with this cytokine to negatively regulate its biological activity.
