The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is >95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Target Information
THADA (thyroid adenoma associated), also known as GITA, is a 1,953 amino acid protein expressed in testis, thyroid, pancreas, stomach, and small intestine. Chromosomal aberrations in the THADA gene are associated with benign thyroid adenomas, suggesting a potential role in tumorigenesis. The THADA gene maps to human chromosome 2, which contains over 1,400 genes and represents nearly 8% of the human genome. Mutations in chromosome 2-localized genes such as ABCA12 are linked to Harlequin ichthyosis, while defects in ABCG5 and ABCG8 cause sitosterolemia.
