Target Information
BID는 세포 사멸을 유도하는 단백질로, BAX 또는 BCL2와 이합체를 형성합니다. BCL-2 패밀리의 일원으로, caspase-8에 의해 절단되어 미토콘드리아로 이동한 후 cytochrome c 방출을 유도합니다. BID는 TNF-α 또는 Fas ligand 자극에 의해 활성화되어 세포 자멸(apoptosis)을 매개합니다. 절단된 BID의 C-말단 15 kDa 조각(p15)은 미토콘드리아에 결합하여 세포 사멸을 촉진합니다.
