• For extended storage, aliquot contents and freeze at -20°C or below.
• Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
• Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature.
• Stable for several weeks at 4°C as an undiluted liquid.
• Dilute only immediately prior to use.

Assay Results:
Immunoelectrophoresis showed a single precipitin arc against anti-Sheep Serum, anti-Peroxidase, and cyanine-conjugated IgG.
Reactivity observed against Cy2, Cy3, and Cy5. Reactivity with other cyanine analogs is unknown.

Target Information

Cyanines are blue-green fluorescent dyes of the polymethine group, widely used in biotechnology for labeling and analysis.
Their spectrum ranges from IR (489/506) to UV (743/767).
Cyanine dyes include Cy2, Cy3, Cy3B, Cy3.5, Cy5, Cy5.5, and Cy7, offering brighter and more stable fluorescence than FITC or TRITC/Rhodamine dyes.
Cy3 and Cy5 are most commonly used for two-color detection in flow cytometry applications.
