- Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed):
Incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 45 minutes at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.

EGFR (Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor)는 다양한 성장인자에 반응하는 수용체 티로신 키나아제로, 여러 종류의 암에서 과발현되는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. EGFR은 인간 염색체 7번에 위치한 EGFR 유전자에 의해 암호화되며, HER/ERbB 단백질 패밀리(ERbB2, ERbB3, ERbB4 포함)에 속합니다.
EGF(Epidermal Growth Factor)나 TGFα(Transforming Growth Factor α) 등의 리간드가 결합하면 EGFR은 이합체를 형성하고 세포질 도메인 내 티로신 잔기의 자가 인산화를 유도합니다.
과발현은 두경부, 뇌, 방광, 위, 유방, 폐, 자궁내막, 자궁경부, 외음부, 난소, 식도 및 편평세포암 등 다양한 종양에서 관찰됩니다.
