This product is preservative free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

This antibody has specificity for Mouse IL-18.
Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene is a proinflammatory cytokine that induces IFN-gamma production in T cells. In combination with IL-12, it inhibits IL-4 dependent IgE and IgG1 production while enhancing IgG2a production in B cells. IL-18 binding protein can interact with this cytokine, negatively regulating its biological activity.
