Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. Antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned and screened to select optimal candidates.

Target Information
The DUSP1 gene expression is induced in human skin fibroblasts by oxidative or heat stress and growth factors. It encodes a protein similar to non-receptor-type protein-tyrosine phosphatases, sharing sequence similarity with a Tyr/Ser-protein phosphatase of the vaccinia virus H1 gene.
The DUSP1 protein exhibits intrinsic phosphatase activity and specifically inactivates MAP kinase by dephosphorylating phosphothreonine and phosphotyrosine residues. It also suppresses MAP kinase activation by oncogenic Ras in Xenopus oocyte extracts.
DUSP1 plays an important role in the cellular response to environmental stress and in the negative regulation of cellular proliferation.
