Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
FKBP8 is a member of the immunophilin protein family, which plays a role in immunoregulation and basic cellular processes involving protein folding and trafficking. Unlike other members of the family, FKBP8 does not appear to have PPIase/rotamase activity. It may be involved in neuronal processes associated with memory function.
