Product Specific Information
A 1:1,000 dilution of MA5-45822 was sufficient for detection of 6-Nitrotryptophan in 1 µg of 6-Nitrotryptophan conjugated to BSA by ECL immunoblot analysis using Goat Anti-Mouse IgG:HRP as the secondary antibody.
Specific for 6-Nitrotryptophan modified proteins. Does not cross-react with 7-Ketocholesterol modified proteins.
Target Information
6-Nitrotryptophan (6-NO2-Trp) is one of the most stable and major ONOO⁻ modified amino acids. Increasing evidence suggests that nitrotryptophan plays a significant role in cellular regulation under nitrosative stress.
