• Ships as lyophilized powder at room temperature.
• Store at -20°C upon arrival.
• Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week. For longer storage, aliquot and keep at -20°C.
• Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
• Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

Target Information

Connexin-36 (CX36) is a member of the connexin gene family predominantly expressed in mammalian neurons. Connexins form groups of six arranged radially around a central pore to create connexons. Each gap junction channel results from the conjunction of two connexons. Mutations in connexin genes can cause functional and developmental abnormalities.
