• Reconstitution:
  Add 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL of double distilled water (DDW), depending on sample size.
  The antibody ships lyophilized at room temperature and should be stored at -20°C upon arrival.
  Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week.
  For long-term storage, aliquot and keep at -20°C.
  Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
  Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

Target Information

Connexin-36 (CX36) is a member of the connexin gene family predominantly expressed in mammalian neurons. Connexins assemble as hexamers forming connexons, which pair to create gap junction intercellular channels. Mutations in connexin genes can result in functional and developmental abnormalities.
