Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
MAP2K1 (MEK1) is a dual-specificity protein kinase functioning in MAPK cascades, regulating cell growth and differentiation.
It is activated by various growth factors, cytokines, and calcium influx, and phosphorylated at serine residues 218 and 222 by Raf1.
MAP2K1 plays a role in stress response, apoptosis, and cytokine-induced proliferation.
Mutations in MAP2K1 are associated with cardiofaciocutaneous syndrome.
