Description:
The monoclonal antibody OX110 recognizes mouse CD200R, also known as OX2. CD200R is an inhibitory receptor structurally similar to its ligand CD200 but lacks an ITIM domain. Its cytoplasmic domain contains a phosphotyrosine binding domain (NPXY), which binds SHIP and inhibits ERK, JNK, and MAPK p38 pathways, leading to reduced TNF-alpha secretion in activated macrophages.

Expression:
CD200R expression is restricted to hematopoietic cells including myeloid cells (monocytes, macrophages, DCs, neutrophils, mast cells, basophils) and subsets of lymphocytes, as well as Langerhans cells and dendritic epidermal T cells.

• Tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse thioglycolate-elicited peritoneal exudate cells.
• Recommended ≤ 0.25 µg/test (100 µL final volume).
• Optimal titration required for specific assay conditions.
• Suitable for analysis using Blue, Green, or Yellow-Green lasers (Excitation: 488–561 nm; Emission: 578 nm).

Target Information

CD200R (OX2R):
CD200R is a receptor for the OX-2 membrane glycoprotein. Both receptor and ligand are surface glycoproteins with two immunoglobulin-like domains. CD200R is mainly found on myeloid lineage cells and mediates downregulatory signaling. In mice, it is primarily expressed on monocytes and neutrophils, but also on T-lymphocytes and mast cells. Alternative splicing of CD200R produces multiple transcript variants. Dysfunction of CD200R has been linked to primary hypertrophic osteoarthropathy.
