For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Folate is an essential vitamin obtained from dietary intake through intestinal absorption in mammals. Folate and its reduced derivatives bind to the folate receptor (FR) family, which mediates the endocytosis of 5-methyltetrahydrofolate into cells.
The folate receptor family includes five members: alpha, beta, gamma, gamma′ (produced by alternative splicing), and delta.

• β-FR: Membrane-bound via GPI anchor, expressed in malignant tissues of epithelial and nonepithelial origin.
• γ-FR: Expressed in hematopoietic tissues such as spleen, thymus, and bone marrow.
• δ-FR: Expression is spatially and temporally restricted.
  The α isoform serves as a selective tumor marker and can be targeted for therapeutic delivery by coupling to folic acid derivatives.
