This antibody recognizes DDIT4L (also known as REDD2), an intracellular stress-induced protein involved in the mediation of cell death.

DDIT4L inhibits cell growth by regulating the TOR signaling pathway upstream of the TSC1-TSC2 complex and downstream of AKT1.
