Target Information
RhoA regulates a signal transduction pathway linking plasma membrane receptors to the assembly of focal adhesions and actin stress fibers.
It is involved in microtubule-dependent signaling required for myosin contractile ring formation during cytokinesis and plays an essential role in cleavage furrow formation.
RhoA is critical for apical junction formation in keratinocyte adhesion and serves as a target for yopT cysteine peptidase from Yersinia pestis and Yersinia pseudotuberculosis.
It stimulates PKN2 kinase activity and may activate PLCE1.
Activated by ARHGEF2, RhoA promotes GDP/GTP exchange and is essential for SPATA13-mediated regulation of cell migration and adhesion dynamics.
The MEMO1–RHOA–DIAPH1 pathway contributes to ERBB2-dependent microtubule stabilization at the cell cortex, controlling localization of APC and CLASP2 via GSK3B regulation.
Membrane-bound APC enables MACF1 localization, necessary for microtubule capture and stabilization.
