Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to reach a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
BTLA (B and T-lymphocyte attenuator) is a co-inhibitory receptor belonging to the CD28 superfamily. It functions as a lymphocyte inhibitory receptor that downregulates immune responses.
BTLA is constitutively expressed on most CD4+ and CD8+ T cells, with expression decreasing upon T cell activation. It remains expressed on Th1 cells but not Th2 cells.
BTLA interacts with the TNF receptor family member HVEM (Herpesvirus Entry Mediator), a key pathway in regulating lymphocyte activation and immune homeostasis.
