Target Information
Histones는 진핵세포 염색질 섬유의 뉴클레오솜 구조를 형성하는 핵 단백질입니다.
H2A, H2B, H3, H4의 각 두 분자가 옥타머를 형성하고, 약 146 bp의 DNA가 이를 감싸 뉴클레오솜 단위를 구성합니다.
Linker histone H1은 뉴클레오솜 사이의 DNA와 결합하여 염색질의 고차 구조 형성에 기여합니다.
이 유전자는 intron이 없으며 polyA tail 대신 팔린드롬 종결 요소를 포함합니다.
Chromosome 6의 대형 histone 유전자 클러스터 내에 위치합니다.
