Product Specific Information
This Astra-1 recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse CD124, also known as the IL4 receptor alpha (IL4RA) chain.
Applications Tested:
Validated for flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocytes. Recommended usage ≤ 0.06 µg per test (100 µL final volume). Optimal cell number: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test.
Careful titration is advised for optimal assay performance.
Excitation: 488 nm

Target Information
IL4 Receptor alpha (IL4RA) is the alpha chain of the interleukin 4 receptor. It binds both interleukin 4 and interleukin 13 to regulate IgE production, chemokine release, and mucus production at sites of allergic inflammation.
The IL4 response promotes Th2 differentiation. The secreted extracellular domain (sIL4Rα) inhibits IL4-mediated cell proliferation and IL5 upregulation by T-cells, lacking signaling ability. Allelic variations in IL4RA have been associated with atopy, including allergic rhinitis, sinusitis, asthma, and eczema.
