- In direct ELISAs and Western blots, no cross-reactivity with recombinant human TPS1, TPSG1, recombinant mouse TPS5, MCPT1, MCPT6, MCPT7, or MCPT11 is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.5 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
TPSB2 is a protein coding gene. Tryptases comprise a family of trypsin-like serine proteases (peptidase family S1). They are enzymatically active only as heparin-stabilized tetramers and resistant to all known endogenous proteinase inhibitors.
Several tryptase genes are clustered on chromosome 16p13.3 and exhibit high sequence conservation and tandem repeat sequences at the 5′ and 3′ UTR regions, contributing to mRNA stability regulation.
Beta tryptases are mainly expressed in mast cells, while alpha tryptases predominate in basophils. Tryptases are implicated in asthma and other allergic and inflammatory disorders.
