Target Information
The COG6 gene encodes a subunit of the conserved oligomeric Golgi complex, essential for maintaining the normal structure and function of the Golgi apparatus.
The encoded protein forms a sub-complex (lobe B) with COG5, COG7, and COG8.
Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
