This antibody binds to human Fc epsilon receptor (FceR1 alpha) and competes with IgE binding.
Target Information
FceR1 (Fc epsilonR1 alpha) is a subunit of the high-affinity receptor for IgE. It forms a tetrameric complex consisting of one alpha, one beta, and two additional subunits required for signal transduction. This receptor plays a critical role in allergic responses by mediating histamine and mediator release upon allergen-induced crosslinking of IgE. It is involved in inflammatory responses characteristic of disorders such as hay fever and asthma.
