- Low-endotoxin, preservative-free formulation (Endotoxin level < 0.01 EU/µg).
- For FACS analysis: use 10 µL of the suggested working dilution to label 1×10⁶ cells in 100 µL.
- Rat anti-Mouse CD36 antibody, clone MF3, recognizes mouse CD36 (platelet glycoprotein 4, glycoprotein IIIb, PAS IV).
Target Information
CD36 (scavenger receptor class B member 3) is a membrane protein expressed on macrophages, platelets, and adipocytes. It participates in lipid metabolism, inflammation, and atherosclerosis by recognizing and uptaking oxidized LDL, long-chain fatty acids, and apoptotic cells. CD36 also functions as a receptor for thrombospondin and mediates cytoadherence of Plasmodium falciparum–infected erythrocytes. Mutations in CD36 cause platelet glycoprotein deficiency. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants exist.
