• Preparation:
  Produced from sera of goats immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human MIP-5 (CCL15). The anti-Human MIP-5 (CCL15)-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and biotinylated.

• Sandwich ELISA:
  To detect Human MIP-5 (CCL15) by sandwich ELISA (using 100 µL/well antibody solution), a concentration of 0.25–1.0 µg/mL of this antibody is required. This biotinylated polyclonal antibody, used with PeproTech Polyclonal Anti-Human MIP-5 (CCL15) (500-P123G) as a capture antibody, allows detection of at least 0.2–0.4 ng/well of Recombinant Human MIP-5 (CCL15).

• Western Blot:
  To detect hMIP-5 by Western Blot, use at 0.1–0.2 µg/mL. With compatible secondary reagents, the detection limit for Recombinant hMIP-5 is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane under reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Target Information

This gene is located in a cluster of similar genes in chromosome 17 encoding CC cytokines, secreted proteins with two adjacent cysteines. The product is chemotactic for T cells and monocytes and acts through C-C chemokine receptor type 1 (CCR1). The proprotein is processed into smaller functional peptides. Naturally occurring readthrough transcripts extend into the downstream gene, CCL14.
