Product Specific Information

N-Acylmannosamine-1-Dehydrogenase antibody is an IgG fraction purified from monospecific antiserum by a multi-step process including delipidation, salt fractionation, and ion-exchange chromatography, followed by extensive dialysis. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Peroxidase, anti-Goat Serum, and purified N-Acylmannosamine-1-Dehydrogenase derived from Pseudomonas.
Target Information
N-acylmannosamine 1-dehydrogenase acts on acetyl-D-mannosamine and glycolyl-D-mannosamine. NAM-DH may be applicable to the quantitative determination of sialic acid in serum.
