Target Information
IkB-alpha는 NF-κB 활성을 억제하는 40 kDa 단백질로, NF-κB와의 상호작용을 통해 핵으로의 이동을 차단합니다. TNF-α, IL-1β, PMA, LPS, UV, 바이러스 감염 등 다양한 자극에 의해 IkB-alpha가 분해되어 NF-κB가 활성화됩니다. 인간에서는 14번 염색체의 q arm에 위치하며, IKK alpha, IKK beta, IKK gamma가 포함된 IKK 복합체가 IkB-alpha의 인산화를 매개합니다.
