CDK1 (Cell Division Control protein 1)은 세포 주기 조절의 핵심 인자로, 유사분열을 개시하기 위한 START 단계 완료에 필수적입니다. CDK1은 M-phase promoting factor 복합체의 촉매 서브유닛으로서, 진핵생물 전반에서 유사분열 진입을 유도합니다.
G2/M기 세포에서의 Bcl-2 인산화는 CDK1 매개 신호에 의해 조절되며, 세포자멸사 개시를 지연시킵니다. 또한, CDK 억제제 NU2058은 남성호르몬 비의존성 전립선암에서 치료적 잠재력을 보인 바 있습니다.
