Product Specific Information

The eBio13G3-19D monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse Ly108, the mouse homologue of human SLAMF6 (signaling lymphocyte activation molecule family member 6). Mouse Ly108, also known as NTB-A, is expressed on NK, T, and B cells. Engagement of Ly108 enhances NK cell activity and IFN-gamma expression, and plays a role in X-linked lymphoproliferative disease mechanisms.

Staining has not revealed strain differences between C57BL/6 and BALB/c mice. Other strains have not been tested.

Each product contains:

• 1 vial of NovaFluor conjugate
• 1 vial of CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer

Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
Applications Tested: Tested on mouse splenocytes and thymocytes. Recommended ≤ 0.8 µg per test (100 µL final volume, 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test). Antibody should be titrated for optimal performance.

Note:

• NovaFluor dyes are incompatible with DNA intercalating viability dyes such as propidium iodide, 7-AAD, and DAPI.
• Use Invitrogen LIVE/DEAD Fixable Dead Cell stains with NovaFluor dyes.
• CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer (Cat. No. C001T06F01) is required for optimal staining. Add 5 µL per sample prior to mixing with cells.
